	afford a $300,000 view. We bought our house a block away in 1975 for $8,100. Most of our relatives thought we were making a big mistake. Murders & gunfire weren't uncommon. It's a lot less scarey now, but I hate the fact that most of these new upscale "neighbors" rarely venture outside their house or car. Except maybe to walk the fancy dog.	©2001 Al Wasco email website
