Macromedia's Flash software is the hottest thing in web animation these days, yet sometimes I'll go to a site that tells me "You must have Flash installed to view this site" and nothing happens, even though I've tested my plug-in with other Flash sites, including Macromedia's.

Worse yet, sometimes after waiting for the Flash animation to download, my reaction is "Why bother?"
