The screenshot below from TheCounter.com shows the overall stats for one day at Interactive Design Forum. To get a more detailed analysis you would click on specific topics at the left.
So, for example, at this point the largest group in the monitor setting category is 800x600. Clicking "Resolution" at left leads to a detailed breakdown of all monitor settings which reveals that only 4% of site visitors use lower resolution (640x480) monitors. Knowing this, I can design screens that look best at 800x600 and know that only a few visitors will not be able to see the full screen on their monitors. |
