I must admit that I love good food ... many different styles of cuisine. Over the years, I've learned that some of the best foods are served in smaller restaurants, and are not necessarily expensive. I love to travel, and despite budgetary constraints, we work into our schedule at least one fun/educational trip per year, sometimes two. It's harder to plan a trip that pleases everyone, now that our son is a teenager, but we rise to the challenge. Last year, we visited Boston. This year, we went to Hawaii (first trip we've ever taken without our son), but went to DC as a family in August. Movies? Love 'em! I enjoy a variety of movie genres, but tend to favor those with lots of special effects, balanced with plot & character development, along with a great director, terrific acting, good camera work, and great editing!
