My Favorite Restaurants

Chinese cuisine:
- Li Wah - near-downtown Cleveland
- C & Y - near-downtown Cleveland
- Garden Cafe - near-downtown Cleveland; this small restaurant is a gem; very tasty, clean, inexpensive, and the food served is very visually appealing!
- Stir Fire - Fairlawn; fresh, flavorful; you pick the veggies and fixin's, and it's cooked before your eyes

Other Asian cuisines
(Unfortunately, I've not tried any locally in recent years, but here are some that have been recommended to me):
- Siam Cafe (Chinese & Vietnamese)- near-downtown Cleveland; highly recommended to me
- #1 Pho (Vietnamese) - near-downtown Cleveland; highly recommended to me
- Jaipur Junction (Indian) - Middleburg Heights; heard it's very authentic and tasty
- Mango Thai (Thai) - Strongsville; just opened and is always packed at dinner time Sweet Mango Restaurant Link

Italian cuisine:
- Olive Garden - national chain restaurant but pretty decent; my son is partial to the breadsticks and I really enjoy the salads
- Macaroni Grille - national chain restaurant and very good; my favorite is the shimp pasta with pinenuts
- almost any restaurant in Little Italy - on Mayfield Road (north of Euclid); I usually let my friends pick the latest and greatest; since there's a number of good restaurants almost side-by-side, my only requirements are quality food and service, and please do not make me wait in line too long!
- Stino da Napoli - Rocky River; I'm chomping at the bit to try this restaurant; their desserts are home-made and heavenly, and I've heard nothing but rave reviews of the food and service

Mexican cuisine:
- Chipotle's - national fastfood chain but they certainly have great fajita's and burrito's
- Baja Fresh - ditto
- I've tried several recommendations but found those restaurants to be mediocre at best; one that I will try soon is a local chain called Cozumel -- supposedly very good; we'll see

Excellence in Steak & Seafood:
- Don's Pomoroy House - Strongsville; excellent service as well
- Pier W - Lakewood; ditto above, plus you get a wonderful lake view
