What are The Bill of Rights? Who cares about them? The Bill of Rights were additions made to the US Constitution. These additions are known as "amendments". These amendments guarantee us certain rights and prevent the government from becoming too strong. Government takeover was an important concern for our forefathers when they created these amendments.
