I am currently a Photography Major at Cuyahoga Community College working towards an Associate Degree in Photography to be used in conjunction with my current profession; I am a Designer at Illusion Unlimited salons as well as a training Educator for Aquage. I would like to get to the point of photographing fashion spreads for publications, hair for runway fashion shows, as well as platform work.
My educational background consists of Kent State, Cleveland State, and Virginia Marti College of Design studying Theatre, Fine Art, Interior Design, and Business, receiving a degree in Interior Design, a BFA equivalency, as well as my Cosmetologists license. I have spent a large portion of my life in school having interests in so many different areas, though all Art related, and have made them all work collectively.
Fashion Forward Hair Design and Photography together are my career and my future.
The exciting educational, photographic, and platform / stage work I do with Aquage gives me opportunities to travel and network so I may continuously branch out and grow.
Interests
- I love food and wine and love to cook and entertain, this spawning from 16 years of working as a server in fine dining restaurants.
- Travel is something else I thoroughly enjoy and want to experience as much of the world as I can.
- Music is just simply something that I would be unable to live without!
Future Goals and Ambitions
There is so much that I have experienced and done and so many things that I have yet to. I remember hearing once to "not regret anything you try only the things you don't" which has stuck with me over the years.
I am working toward designing the hairstyles to be sent down the runways at New Yorks Fashion Week and complete the looks imagined by Versace or LeCroix. I wish to capture on film the beautiful images which will grace the pages of Vogue and W.
One day, my photographic works, part of a gallery opening....
