MY GOALS IN TAKING THIS COURSE

Basically I wanted to get started in learning the ins and outs of the current html standards and css. Before taking the class I was just getting what I needed done and I knew that it wasn't the correct way of doing things, but it was just "getting something done". I know that for my own website and the site for my clothing line I didn't want to rely on someone else to handle any of it for us.

In addition to that; when I lost my job a year ago as I was thinking what could I do for a job that would get me away from doing labor jobs that was something I was interested in. Web design and the interactive media program seemed to be the best fit for something fun that I could put some mental muscle into where I would have something to show for it at the end of the day. I want to push what I think I'm capable of and try to surprise myself at what I can create for the web.
