Wireframe & Details on the Final Project
Site Decription
My music site will detail the history and current status of Dubstep. Dubstep is a music genre that began in the late 1990's and have final gained some recognition at the start of this decade. Based in England, Dubstep is a mixture of Drum and Bass, Two-Step and classic Dub music. The major players now are Skream, Hatcha, AC Slater and 16 Bit, all based out of England. The music is created digitally, with the help of multi-tracking recording software like Logic, Ableton Live and others. The weapons of choice are keyboards, turntables, drum machines, sequencers, synths and of course a personal computer.
My goal is to create more awareness of the musical genre and homely influence others to give it a listen! I plan on having links to Dubstep sites and music on the site as well as an artist bio section, multimedia section and upcoming concerts in my area. I am also entertaining the idea of having a page with "the history of" on the musical genres that help to create this new genre.
