Sheila Hart, president
Sheila Hart Design, Inc. has been in operation since 1996. Sheila attained her degree in Graphic Design at the University of Cincinnati in 1986. Before going it alone, she worked at such well-known design firms as Fisher Design, Vignelli Associates, Pentagram, and Nesnadny + Schwartz. Her business opened in 1996 and specializes in corporate branding collateral, marketing promotion, and publication design.
Sheila teaches at Kent State University and Cuyahoga Community College. She has also guest lectured at Cleveland State University and the College of Wooster. Her work has been exhibited in major museums and galleries around the world and is part of the permanent collection at the Tokyo Museum of Modern Art.
Sheila has won numerous awards for design and has served on the Board for Cleveland Chapter AIGA in various positions, including President. She has also served with NOCA (Northern Ohio Communication Affiliates) and on the Nominating Committee for the AIGA National Board. She has been recognized as a NOISmaker (Northern Ohio Illustrator’s Society), and in 2007 she was honored with the prestigious AIGA Fellows Award.
