One for the most popular medium cut hair styles of the period. This style became ideal for women who wanted to show their support for the war, but refused to cut their hair too short. This look is completed by rolling the bangs back (often called Victory Rolls) and creating big soft curls that become concentrated towards the bottom. The Middy was the most flexible in styling and could easily be worn up or down without much effort. Ivan of Hollywood was the first to introduce this haircut.

The Deep Side Part was considered the most conservative hair style and was sported by men of all ages. Men commonly used grease and/or vaseline to complete the style. This hair cut required to have long hair on top, short on the sides and shortest in the back.
The Deep Side Part can be found in movies such as, The Hucksters featuring Clark Gable and It's a Wonderful Life featuring Jimmy Stewart.
