What does it mean for you?

Amendment six addresses the rights of the accused. As a U.S. citizen, you won't be kept rotting in a jail cell waiting for trial. You will know what you are accused of. You are entitled to a public trial by jury in the district where the crime occurred. Those accusing you must provide evidence of the crime. You are entitled to a lawyer to help you defend yourself, and you can call witnesses to testify in your defense.
