I'd say the web actually started (In 1960) with...
(The comunicatiion between colleges and with the communication between goverment
offices. I had always heard it was a group of "Dead Heads" i.e. Greatful Dead follower's
who were at two California colleges and started exchanging Greatful Dead tapes from shows
via an internet hookup.)
Most important breakthrough
The thing that really made the World Wide Web workable was? (The developement of
the Browser was the single most technological develpement, following of course
the desktop computer.)
Most important person
The person who contributed most to the web as we know it was )Steve Jobs) because
(In the movie about Steve Jobs and Bill Gates, it was the talented businessman seeing
an opportunity to create an operating system,but it was Steve Jobs that invisioned a
computer on every desktop and continues to think outside of the box and revelotionize.)
