... to kayak the Apostle Islands

I'm planning a trip to kayak around the Apostle Islands. Before I go I wanted to learn more about the area.

The Apostle Islands are an archipelago in Lake Superior in Northern Wisconsin. Because of its extremely cold, long winters and thus short summers, Bayfield, Wisconsin is off the beaten tourist path but still offers the summer adventuress many delicious sight and activities.

I will join a group organized by Living Adventure Kayak Outfitters for a week long paddle into the carved sandstone sea caves and rock walls. The water even in high summer never really gets past 55°F.

Why not explore them all?

With five Great Lakes all within a days drive or so from where I live, why not make it a goal to kayak each of them?

So far I've kayaked on
