My name is Amanda Stanley and I am 21 years old. I work at Payless Shoe Source in Great Northern Mall, almost full time and go to school full time. I am pretty boring person, ha-ha. If I am not at school then I am at work, if I am not at work then I am at school, and if I am not doing those two then I am doing homework, or if I am not doing any of those options I am probably sleeping. Did I confuse you yet?
I have been attending Tri-C now for about 3 years. I know what your thinking. "You've have been there so long and haven't finished for an Associates Degree yet?" Well, no. After a year of pursuing a business management degree I decided that I didn't like it as much as I though I would have. I figured out that I love working with computers and am very interested in designing. Which lead to me designing clothes again. I was actually in Steve "<" Barry's doing what I do best, SHOPPING, and I saw on one of the big televisions that they have throughout the store advertising *Dear* which is Amanda Byne's clothing line. Then, right after that they showed "Bitten" which is Sarah Jessica Parker's line and they were talking about how they never expected to design clothes. Both Amanda Bynes and Sarah Jessica Parker said that they have so much fun creating designs and having the final word in what people are going to wear in their line. So that is why I began sketching and designing again.
I do have a My-Space page dedicated to my clothing designs. I have actually already had a couple people try and order some of the things that I had designed, however after I laughed and told them that "I only draw, as of right now, I don't sew." This may lead me to change my major again. If you can't tell by now, you will get to know that I am a very indecisive person.
