The Trendy Japanese Staple
After the emergence of street fashion blogging in the last ten years, they have exploded into a staple of Japanese Harajuku fashion. The shoes, which can range from t-straps, ballerina all the way to boot styles are always linked by a wooden or cork platform and sloped front for the rocking effect. Most purists prefer a 3 inch cut in the back of the shoe, but the current relaxed fashion trends in Japanese districts have calmed this guideline.
The original and most sought after model. The Rocking Horse Heel was first design by Vivienne Westwood in 1985 and were a part of her Mini Crini collection. They have been popular in underground fashion scenes since then.
