This week we are learning about wire frames and how they should be the first step in designing your website.
What is a wire frame?
According to Wikipedia it is a page schematic or screen blueprint. A visual guide that represents the skeletal frame work of a website.
Why do we need them?
The can save time and it helps hash out details of the sites architecture, functionality, and content prior to starting visual design.
Some things to think about
- Propostion= Does the overall idea seem useful?
- Concept= How does it deliver its value?
- Context= Would it fit in with other things the user is doing?(Before and after using it?)
