Sliced Images Saved As Tables

Below is an image that has been sliced into sections using Photoshop. The image was then saved as a table.

Why slice and image and save as a table?

• Allows the image to load faster.
• Take advantage of the relationship between file size and image color depth.
• Allows one to select a different compression method for different parts or slices of the image.
