The light, the used furniture, the pose all combine to create a feeling of relaxation that I find much more intimate than any of the glamour pictures. It's not just that this model is nude and the others aren't. There's a warm physicality here that shows an actual person, not a performer.

Whether the model shares this feeling about the difference I'm not sure. Maybe it's all performance to her.

In a future project I plan to combine photos and converations with models and other artist/photographers to create an interactive study of this question.
