This site is a good reference for design and site organization.****

This site is a lovely example of effective and efficient design (translate: usability). ****

Great database of building related, environmentally appropriate technologies. Extensive descriptive contact information for products in several categories, including indoor air quality, nontoxic materials, waste management, energy efficiency, and recycled materials.
***

This is actually a nice looking government website. **

Well organized resources related to green building, with numerous links. Good organization of information. Visually nothing exceptional.**
U.S. Green Building Council

Sustainable Building Sources
This is one of the Austin Texas sites, with a great deal of resources related to green building.
This however is one of those site with a wealth of information yet no design,(*).
R-2000 Info Center
Well, what can I say---the information looks good with a nice interface. This site offers users the opportunity to locate and shop for green homes. Ultimately I just couldn't venture past the swastika on the splash page. :(
