I am native of Colombia, and I have a bachelor degree in Marine Biology. I graduated in 1995 from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University. As part of my undergraduate education I had the opportunity to study a variety of coastal habitats in the Caribbean Sea, including seagrasses, mangroves, and coral reefs. Also, I have knowledge about fisheries, marine mammals, and aquaculture among others. My tesis degree was about Phytoplankton in Cartagena, Colombia. Even though Coral reefs are not my favorite subject, I did enjoy searching everything I could for this project. There is still a lot things I would like to include, but I have not more time. I hope you find the world of coral reef very interested as I did.
