My sister claims it has ruined me. Yes, one visit to the ancient ruins of Rome, and I was hooked. There are still many, many ruins yet for me to visit. My absolute favorite is Abul Simbel.
The ruins of the Library in Ephesus, Turkey runs a close second. I can remember walking down the road through the ruins, it was filled with hundreds of people, what a view.
