Wk 11: Positioning & Floats:

In this weeks assignment, I actually had lots of fun experimenting with the different methods of positioning. Along with previous projects that we have had, I understand the concepts but need to do LOTS of "trial and erroring" in oder to get these techniques and concepts down better.

I started with pieces of the Bubble Under example website, filled in any missing pieces that I needed to create an adequate page and started from there. As I followed the examples in the text and found that I had to modify pieces/parts as I progressed through the exercises. The silver background in the paragraphs (#ccc - lol "Tri-C") and the "nudged" area were scripted out for the sake of creating a more visually appealing page. I added a picture of my own into the layout (I don't believe that I have the divers circle picture). Finally, I wanted to do more with the positioning of the navigation and this information but started to get frustrated and a bit stuck . . . but that leaves another piece of the puzzle for me to work on and perfect as I progress.

About Us

" . . . everyone gets a trustworthy dive buddy."

A picture of rippled glass

Bubble Under is a group of diving enthusiasts based in the south-west UK who meet up for diving trips in the summer months when the weather is good and the bacon rolls are flowing. We arrange weekends away as small groups to cut the costs of accommodation and travel and to ensure that everyone gets a trustworthy dive buddy.

Although we're based in the south-west, we don't stay on our turf: past diving weekends away have included trips up to Scapa Flow in Scotland and to Malta's numerous wreck sites.

When we're not diving, we often meet up in a local pub to talk about our recent adventures (any excuse, eh?).
