Soup-er Easy Chicken Soup
Here's a great recipe for a cozy winter evening. This chicken soup could not be easier!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Rotisserie chicken
- 10 Chicken bouillon cubes (1 per cup of water)
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 1 cup chopped Celery
- 2 cups wide egg noodles
- Salt and Pepper
STEP 1
Purchase rotisserie chicken. Giant Eagle sells them for five dollars, can't beat that.
STEP 2
Bring 10 cups of water to a boil. While your waiting for water to boil, begin to remove chicken from the bones and chop into bite size pieces (throw the skin away).
STEP 3
Dissolve all 10 cubes of chicken bouillon in boiling water, should only take a few minutes. Once that's done, toss in carrots and celery. Let that boil for about 5 minutes to soften them up.
STEP 4
Stir in noodles and chopped chicken. Boil for about 8-10 minutes, or until noodles are done. Stir occasionally, and add salt and pepper to taste.
STEP 5
Let cool for a few minutes and enjoy! Makes approximately five 2-cup servings.
