All right, so the drama has ended. I have added a horizontal navigation bar to all three pages, which all validate without errors. Each page is still color themed, and there is no site wide consistency, which in the real world would never work for me because I'm far too organized. I'm just happy I finally got upper right frog in his corner without errors-Yeah Me!
I do not want background, border or margins around my headings, so I've placed required elements in paragraphs to demonstrate comprehension/ability.
