Death threat
Tempers are short when it comes to brooms at North Park Retirement Community. This broom in the cleaning supply cart parked outside Mom's door today carried a pretty clear warning.
Of course I should point out it was nowhere near the beauty shop at the time, and the "thief" had already added his/her own reply at the bottom.

On the edge
The sky was fabulously blue today, and the steady breeze made it look like ideal conditions for the hang-glider standing at the edge of the bluff that drops down to the lake.
You can't tell from the picture, but where you see scrubby bushes in front of him there's an abrupt drop of 100 feet or more.
He was there for ten minutes or so as I walked to the end of the street and back, but never took off.
I couldn't tell whether he was waiting for some perfect moment that never arrived, or maybe he was just scared. The view was great, anyway.

Sunny and cold
The view north on a day where the sun made the ice sparkle.
The thin dark line at left center is a whole flock of seagulls who decided to camp far from shore today. They are far enough away that you can barely hear them, and the wind noise made recording them impossible. You'll have to take my word for it.
