I'm not big on talking about myself. It was suggested that mentioning something on how Egon Schiele's work affects my sculpture might be something I would want to include on this page. I like Egon Schiele's drawings. Egon was a hell of a draftsman. I sculpt stone. There isn't much connective tissue there.
Here's a picture of me making art:
This web site is the culmination of the Cuyahoga Community College Web Publishing: HTML class taught by Al Wasco. It is my final project. The class voted to see what the subject of our web sites would be. I voted for favorite movie. Favorite artist/designer received the most votes.
So I have cobbled together a web site on Egon Schiele because I really like his drawings. I'm not a big fan of art historians or art critics, who are the folk that invariably have done all the writing to created the research material which I have considered and relied on to create the the text portion of the content. My big focus is the drawings. That Drawings page, despite problems figuring that pop-up CSS was what I enjoyed working with most.
Still, I'd have prefered to do a movie web site.
