Huh?
It's a tough time for job-seekers. You'd expect every job applicant to make their strongest case on their resume and cover letter.
I guess not.
Three applicants for the Web/Interactive Media teaching position at Tri-C have a stunning omission on their applications. Not one of the three has his/her own website.
In 2011 this is unacceptable for any designer, let alone one who claims to specialize in web and interactive media. Our Portfolio Preparation students can't graduate without a personal website regardless of their major. It's that important.
Regardless of their other qualifications, it's hard to take these applicants seriously.
