Good luck
Not sure how or why, but somehow I've come to see the Eastern Tiger Swallowtail butterfly as my personal good-luck charm.
I have a vivid memory of a time many years ago when I was setting up my tent in the beautiful White River National Park outside of Aspen, Colorado.
Two swallowtails kept me company as I worked, making an already beautiful day more special.
In a more prosaic setting, today in my backyard, I was still happy to see this one sharing his beauty with me.
