I'd prefer my bike rack to be non-denominational, thank you very much. But not this one that appeared recently on Market Street across from Great Lakes Brewing.
I tried to get to Edgewater Park for a run before the temperature peaked for the day. Unfortunately my timing couldn't have been worse. I finished my 5 mile run at 4 pm, right at the top 93 degree mark.
My new sunglasses were a help. Still, despite a light breeze blowing off the lake the heat was oppressive. For the first time in ages I walked for a quarter lap just to cool down.
