TEDxCLE returns
The original TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) conference is an extremely pricey idea-fest that I wish I could attend but can't.
Fortunately the organizers have decided to share the wealth via the internet. They have created an extensive library of videos, free to watch at TED.com.
There's also a growing collection of TEDx events: "local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group."
Last year's Cleveland version—TEDxCLE—brought local thinkers, dreamers and doers together to share their ideas, dreams and projects. I loved it.
TEDxCLE returned to the Capital Theater last Friday but I wasn't able to attend. I'm looking forward to watching videos of the talks, scheduled to be posted on their website in the next week or so.
