The aftermath
Clean-up is underway after yesterday's party. The last guests left about midnight and we managed to clear away most of the plates, bottles, and scraps of food scattered around the house before crashing.
Every chair we own has been drafted into service as well as all the tables large and small. The next step, about to begin when this picture was taken, is to fold up and put away the tables, restore the chairs to their original locations, and vacuum the carpet.
One of the benefits of doing something more than thirty times is that you develop a system. Joanne does most of the dish-washing and kitchen clean-up while I do all the other rooms in the house. About four hours later things are mostly back to normal.
