Time stands still
Walking through the park surrounding Cudell Recreation Center on Detroit Avenue, I admired again the sculpture atop the old clock tower. Now the clock faces are mute—neither hours nor minutes pass. The hourglass made of solid stone measures nothing but tells us to live in the moment.
Huh?
I couldn't pass this cryptic message on a Detroit Avenue business door. Time and the elements have edited the original to something much more interesting.
