Laughter
As a teacher I've always considered myself pretty good at the serious stuff, not so good with the fun. When my colleague Angela and I team-teach the Interactive Media class it sometimes feels like we're doing the "Good Cop/Bad Cop" routine. And you know who is the Bad Cop.
So I was as surprised as anyone yesterday to find myself wiping tears from my eyes from laughing so hard during a discussion in Web Publishing I.
Not sure what took our discussion of website ideas in that direction, but it was the most fun we've had in a long while in what is a pretty tough, pretty serious class. At this point in the semester everyone's stress level is pretty high; we needed that.
Should try to do it more often.
