Not so funny

It's not reassuring that one of the sanest responses to America's overheated political environment comes from a comedian.

Jon Stewart, host of The Daily Show on Comedy Central, is organizing a tongue-in-cheek response to Glenn Beck's recent Washington, DC rally. He's suggesting signs along the lines of "I disagree with you, but I'm pretty sure you're not Hitler."

Funny, but I think the message is actually great advice to both "us" and "them" to keep things reasonable.
