Indian summer?

Bright gold tree on Tri-C campusIt's late October, last week was cold and gray, and today it was sunny and warm, with even warmer weather predicted for tomorrow. Maybe it's Indian summer, which Wikipedia says is "a period of sunny, warm weather in autumn in the northern hemisphere, typically in late October or early November, after the leaves have turned but before the first snowfall."

As you can see in the picture, the leaves have definitely turned, and in Cleveland at least we haven't seen the first snowfall. So I'm going to go with the Indian summer idea. I took this picture as I was walking back to my office this afternoon the looong way, trying to stretch my time outdoors as much as possible while still aiming to get back to my office.
