The long drive home
We left New Hampshire a little after 8 a.m. for what Google predicted would be an 11-hour drive back to Cleveland. When we reached western New York state we could once again see Lake Erie on the horizon, a welcome sight.
We were making pretty good time all the way through New York so decided to take a short detour in Erie, PA to try a local restaurant. The food wasn't memorable but it was inexpensive and decent, so we got back on I-90 West in good spirits. We got home about 13 hours after leaving New Hampshire.
