All-American Boy
Riding behind this guy on the way to work a couple of days ago I was thinking that it must be uncomfortable to ride for any length of time with your arms that high in the air.
I've heard these handlebars called "ape hangers" but after a bit of googling, I think that the ones in the picture are the taller "gorilla bars."
But never mind. Point is, this is all about style. Specifically young American male style: a Harley, no helmet, tattoos on both arms, backwards baseball hat, cigarette in hand. Mom wouldn't approve, and that's kind of the point.
