C.R.A.P.
My thought for the day in Visual Communication Foundation class had something to do with the design principles of Contrast, Repetition, Alignment and Proximity, a mnemonic device I hope will stick in students' minds.
It was also about my recent struggle with trying to keep all the balls in the air: teaching, grading, and dealing with administrative BS while still trying to have something of a life outside of Tri-C.
This morning I got to school to find that the assignments I'd planned to grade before class were still sitting on my table at home. When I walked into my second class I realized that my binder of class materials had apparently stayed behind with them. I hate feeling this unprepared.
When I thought about it I realized that the two hours I spent at the Bruce McClure program last night was enough to screw up my schedule. Sheesh.
