SEPTEMBER 11, 2001.
It's only been six years, and only once did the sparkling blue sky remind me of that other September 11th. Only once as I was driving home did I turn my lights on, remembering the email message urging this gesture of remembrance.
How can this be? How can something that I believed then "changed everything" be just the faintest whisper in my mind only six years later?
Last year I thought about it enough to give my website a commemorative front page. A token gesture, but something.
Earlier this year I realized how quickly we forget the "unforgettable."
Today I mostly forgot.
Did you remember? If so, how did you show it?
