Christmas cheer
- A few blocks from my house they've decorated the big tree in front of the May Dugan Multi-Service Center. In the past I might have questioned the wisdom of spending money on this instead of the social services the Center provides to neighborhood residents. This year I welcome the color and light the tree brings to the corner of Bridge and West 41st. Seems that with no shortage of bad news throughout the year we need to celebrate when we can.
