Moving pictures
It's not much, but it's a start. I've been wanting to add short video clips to this site for a long time, and for technical reasons I won't go into here I haven't been able to, except by embedding a YouTube video. Today I installed Flash CS3, the software that will let me take videos from my Casio camera and convert them to web-friendly format.
My test video that you see here is from last January. It shows electric votive "candles" inside the mausoleum at Holy Family cemetery where my dad is buried. There's something perverse to me about these oh-so-convenient fake candles.
But that's another story. For today I just wanted to try something and happened to have this video ready to go.
Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and there's a whole lot yet to be done, so for now I'm declaring this test a success and calling it a day.
