Sushi in the 'hood
It shouldn't have been a surprise—after all, the storefront mental health clinic has been a sushi shop for several years, and the laundromat's been replaced by an upscale salon—but it still came as a shock: I walked into Dave's Supermarket last night and there was a whole display case full of sushi across from the coin-counting machine.
It balanced things off a bit to see five and ten pound plastic pails of frozen chitterlings in the meat department.
