Baby it's cold outside...today
Yesterday when I got home at about 11 pm it felt like Spring. My car's themometer read 55 degrees. The wind was starting to pick up, but I had no sense of the coming cold front until I saw it on the TV news.
By morning it was 30 degrees colder with a light sprinkle of snow on the ground. Maybe there's another explanation of these big temperature swings other than global climate change, but I'll need to be convinced on that one.
I've lived in Cleveland my whole life and I can't remember winters other than in the last couple of years when temperatures would be in the teens one day and 40-50 degrees the next, or vice-versa. Yet we've been through at least two cycles like this already and it's only January.
