People In Order
I found this short video, today's pick on VeryShortList.com, to be oddly fascinating and charming. It's simply people from 1 to 100 banging on a drum.
I'll admit that as my own numbers get higher I don't like thinking about birthdays. 30 was OK, 40 wasn't too bad, 50, acceptable, but 60 was a serious downer. No matter how you look at that one, you're way past the midpoint in your life and the landscape ahead isn't always bright and sunny. The horizon isn't that far away, either.
That thought made me particularly interested in the people in the film in their 70s, 80s, 90s. They're a pretty mixed bag, but 91 & 92 give me reason to hope. Enjoy.
