Celebrating the day
Although I'm not religious, I invited Danny, Misty & the kids and my mom over to the house for dinner today, which happens to be Easter Sunday. The day holds no religious significance to me, but still it seems like a good idea to celebrate spring as a special part of the year. I'm sure that the religious celebration can be traced back to earlier pagan festivals related to the spring equinox. Likewise all the fertility trappings of Easter: bunnies, eggs, etc.
But rather than investigate that now, I'm going to just wish you a happy Easter, Springtime, whatever, and suggest that you try to appreciate the good things in life and the world around you. In Cleveland it was sunny and cold, actually a beautiful day. Last Easter we had about a foot of snow.
